If you forget your Apple Account password (1)

You use your Apple Account to access the App Store, iTunes Store, Apple Books, iCloud, and other Apple services. You can also use it to manage your AppleAccount settings on your Mac.

If you forget your AppleAccount password, you can reset it using AppleAccount settings on your Mac.

  1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu If you forget your Apple Account password (2)> System Settings, then click “Sign in” at the top of the sidebar.

  2. Click Forgot Password, enter your Apple Account email address or phone number, click Continue, then follow the onscreen instructions.

  • Go to the Apple Account page, click Sign In, click “Forgot password?” then follow the onscreen instructions.
